Registered Maine Master Guide Since 1975
“Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine Member”
“North American Hunting Club Member”

The camps are owned and operated by Gene and Charise, both Maine natives born and brought up in the Katahdin region. Gene has worked in the woods and hunted in this area all of his life. He has served as a Registered  Maine Master Guide since 1975. They are currently maintaining a small operation which allows them to offer each hunter more individual attention. They have four camps at present, and a fifth under way. From May to the latter part of August the camps are used as housekeeping camps microwave, android smart tv box h5, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, utensils, linens, showers, toilets, and controlled oil heat. Camps are available for overnight stays. Starting in September (Bear Bait Season) the camps are used mainly for bunking camps, you can cook your own meals or you may prefer going to a local restaurant. There are times when a party may have a camp to themselves, depending on the number of parties and the number of hunters in each party reserving a hunt. Please call for more information:

Directions:

We’re just 4 miles from the North entrance to Baxter State Park, the single largest tract of unspoiled wilderness in the entire state. We are in the most northern tip of Penobscot County, only two miles from the start of Aroostook County. These are the two most popular counties for hunting in the state.

Take Interstate I-95 North through Bangor and Millinocket. Then continue another 18 miles to the Sherman/Patten Exit 264 (formerly 58). Take a left onto Rte. 11 North and drive 10 miles to Patten and continue another 5 miles North on Rte. 11 to our camp road (Owlsboro Road) in Mt. Chase, which is located on the left. Then drive approx. 2/10 of a mile in and we are located on the right.

For guests who wish to fly, commercial flights and best tv box sets to watch are available to Bangor (Bangor Int’l Airport). Bangor Int’l Airport is located 100 miles from our camp. At the airport there are various car rental agencies such as Hertz, Avis, etc. from which to choose.
